Some of our programs and activities                         
  • Began and passed on to Loma Linda University Medical Center's Perinatal Services Network a lactation training program which has evolved and grown to train over 1000 nurses in the Inland Empire.
  • Annually honors a "Mother-Friendly Workplace of the Year"
  • Since 2001 has held an annual Breastfeeding Photo Contest

  • Recognizes Mother-Friendly restaurants in the Inland Empire

  • Editing Model Hospital Breastfeeding Policies recommended and distributed to birthing hospitals in California by the State Department of Health Services
  • Educates the public and governmental officials regarding the impact of selected legislation on breastfeeding.
  • Counsels mothers and employers regarding the mutual benefits of supporting breastfeeding mothers in the workplace. 
  • Educates various health professionals and the general public regarding the normalcy of breastfeeding and the risks of artificial feedings for infants, mothers, and society.
